Peachtree City BMX Parents Meeting 10-6-07

Called to order at 3:08 pm by Shayne

There was to be voting today to fill the position of the Track Treasurer, there were to people in the running, however, one did not show. Reed Bradford is the Treasurer for the upcoming year.

The Officers for 2007-2008 are

Anthony Robinson – Track Director

Shayne Robinson- President

Don Mathis – Vice President

Carolyn Grant – Secretary

Reed Bradford – Treasurer

Began month with $8,100.00

there were some purchases made and some money set aside to make some future purchases.(ceiling fans) Ended with $8107.99

Concessions is doing great as is the vending machine.

Next month it will look like more money is going out than coming in. Looking to purchase a 4 wheeler for about $600-800 dollars.

October 15, the track will be making a presentation to the city with a 5 year plan. This includes a dream list of things that we would like to have done. (repaving berms, finishing the grading and pavement around the concessions, fence around track, shading over staging, re-building the tower.)

New Business;

Anthony gave out a PTC To Do list, see attached and is also online, please look and see what you can help with. Things will be done like cleaning out from under the tower, getting organized.

Incentive for the LEAP series for 2008 , looking at the top 3 in each class(experts, rookie,novice, girls and cruisers, to receive a special prize, such as ipod or something to encourage the continuation of racing after all of the championhsips. There will be plenty of advertising to let everyone know what is going on and when.
