Review of previous minutes

Old business:

Parents Appreciation Cookout, thanks to Annette and all the volunteers and riders for making this a great event for all

Finances: see attached or online

Began August: $8200.00

Ended August: $ 8009.52

New Business:

Bawls will soon be in the vending machine at the track

Elections will be held in Ocotber-

all positions are available.

Gary Monk and Reed Bradford have been nominated for the position of Treasurer

Don Mathis for Vice President

Background checks will done on all new and current officers by the city

To Do List:

middle of the week workdays to prepare for the weekends race, and again 2 hours before the Sat race to get out the signs and so.

The 4 wheeler will soon be able to be kept at the track with new garage doors being installed for security.

Christmas Classic:

vote taken to see if track will be giving $50.00 entry to all qualified riders

to be qualified you have to have earned a leap plate, this means you have to have raced 8 races by Decembers last race.

Voting was unanimous to pay for entry fees.

City has approved to have 2 ceiling fans installed outside of the concession stand

, garage doors fo the tool shed. We have to provide a certified electrician to install the fans.

City has approved the grading and paving which will happen in the spring. We will pay for the materials and they will do the work

Promotions:

we can use anything not just money( gift certificates and such)

Back again for next year will be Bicycles Unlimited, Cloned BMX, Evolution Bikes, all giving $200.00. Sweet Brothers and Fayette Rental will be back as well.

October Cookout on the 20th.

Novemeber 17^th will be the beanie race. Riders will get beanies instead of trophies.

December- gate practice will move to Sat afternoons 2-4

Begin racing again 2^nd weekend in Jan
