MINUTES OF PARENTS MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 03, 2007.

Meeting started 2pm.

 

  1. Roll Call

 

  1. Previous minutes reviewed, no comments.

 

  1. Financial status:  Opening balance $6475.70

                                        Closing balance $ 6933.93

 

  1. Regional Update:  Magnets presented. Big hit.  Will be distributed at Competition Congress.

                                     New business cards for the track .

                                    Rob Potter presented Regional Posters he designed for distribution to area shops.  Both designs approved and will be available next month. Anthony to e-mail pictures for Rob.

                                     Volunteer sign up sheet now available.  Anthony to post on line.

                                     Wingate Hotel in Fairburn has joined the list of hotel s for $75 a night.

                                      PTCBMX to pay $450 rental to city for our fenced account for the event, plus the $200 deposit for cleanup.  All paperwork has been sent in for the event. 

                                       EMT cost for the weekend will be about $1000.  Shayne to investigate the Clayton School for trainee emts and see if we can donate money for their school.

                                      Boy Scouts will be used as runners for finish line work.  Peggy to investigate further.                                            

                                     

5. Track report by Anthony.  Track is in good shape going into early racing.  Still need volunteers to pick up some of the “to do “list items.  Jason Larev to do BMX clinic.  Anthony to confirm date of 24th March. ( update looks like we will have to go with April 15th )   Purchsed CD player with digital readout! Need to purchase bull horn for staging.  Anthony to go ahead and order it.  Anthony to work with David on cementing in the wire base on the back of the starting gates.

 

  1. Open forum:  Tom Ritz will be out at Speedway BMX February 16-18.  Rob will be needing shovel work help on Sunday February 18th.
