Meeting called to Order @ 4:08 pm

**Candy was not present for this meeting as she is at the hospital having her hand checked after having the gate fall on it. She left her reports and info for Shayne to give at the meeting.

Poor turn out at last race of the season

 

Finances:

There is $5,024.39 in the account

$2500.00 is budgeted for the paving of the berm, we pay for the materials.

$2500.00 is on hold for the Regional we are having in May, hopefully we will have sponsors in line for more help.

Vendors who have already committed to be at the regional are Tom Izor (photography) Coastal Bike Supply, and Cloned BMX

 

January 2007 a meeting will be scheduled to put together committees for the planning of the Regional.

PTC Tourism Board wanting to charge $99.00 per room….not good

Usual average is $85-99 told PTC hotels it they do not come down on prices will we send all business to Newnan  $59-85 should be average.

 

PTC sending goodie bags to all of the tracks in the area (Southeast inc NC, SC, Alabama, TN,
FL.  Goodie bags will include fanny packs, pens, pencils…etc…

 

Suggestions from Erma to add $250.00 to pot each day for the Team series racing

Voted on with those in attendance…..unanimous

 

4-6 weeks P&L statement for the City for use of money after the Regional, Can possibly put into fenced account.  Suggestions are to fence in the track.

 

Jan 13, 2007 is the first race of the season at PTC

Gate practice will resume on Jan 30, 2007

 

We have a spare Tara Box and it Works!!!

 

We will sod some more after paving the berm

 

Christmas cards have been mailed out

 

Jan 5-6 Bob Tedesco will be at Speedway to help finish and too look at PTC.

 

Speedway will be racing on Sundays at 3pm with practice and registration from 1-2:30

This is during the cold months and because there are no lights yet.

During the summer months racing will be on Friday nights with practice and registration from 6-8 and racing at 8:30pm
