MINUTES OF MEETING
HELD
1) Reviewed finances, Concession stand average almost $200.00/race.
2) New concession stand signs are up, thanks the Ben.
3) Obtained a new roller to drag track,
4) Sod is taking hold well on the track, looks so much better.
5) We would like to hear your opinion on possible future buys: Beverage
Cart, popcorn Machine.
6) Priority now is planning to Asphalt; polypaving;
and apply concrete. Does
anyone know anyone in the Paving Business, to pave to 3rd Berm?
If so please
notify Anthony Robinson.
7) One of our volunteer’s had an idea for a Fundraiser/Garage Sale- to raise
money for the track. Requesting Volunteers and Organizer to head this off,
if anyone is interested please notify Shayne Robinson.
We will be needing volunteers to help work on the
track, keeping it looking
as good as it is now. Anthony Robinson our track director and team has been
doing a wonderful job, but he and his family can’t do it all, alone. The
group has decided that the best way to contact volunteers is to call people
2 –3 days before the help is needed, or to have a working Sunday. Help is
needed to smooth out the track before the Polypaving
can be done. Dates to
go out on the Hot Line.
- If any one has any Ideas on Promotional Items please inform Shayne
Robinson, one idea is a car magnet for $5.00 / piece.
- June 3rd is the State Qualifier in PTC, need volunteers, please. We will be
starting up a list, if you are able to help please sign up at the concession
stand, Need help with moto board with new riders,
staging, corner marshals.
We are hoping for at least 100 Riders. Cards will be send out to riders to
let them know if they are Qualified to ride at the State Championship Race,
also possible reminder cards, that they need at least 2 SQ races to Qualify
for Championship race. State Qualifier Pit bike Race is $5.00, and riders
winning the series will be awarded a special number plate.
- May 20th, Pit Bike Race, local pit bike race Free.
- May 21st, Bizzarro Clinic,
5pm. Cost $25.00. Volunteers needed.
- June 6th, Colin Stiles Clinic, Need Volunteers. Brian Dumont and Don Mathis
will set up gate and ensure track is ready for the clinic. Candy Gore and
Beverly Dennis will run concession stand
