MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH  11, 2006

 

 

In attendance: Shayne Robinson, Anthony Robinson, Candy Gore-Maret, Annette Vargas, Karen Failer, Carol McCard, Karen Allen, Granny McCard, Eddy Wallace, Curtis Browning, Scott Shaw, Jim Smith

 

 

 

  1. Welcomed new parents.

 

  1. Concession stand and bathrooms now open.  Will only open for BMX events.  Voting on new name to take place at next race.

 

  1. Reviewed finances. See attached report.

 

  1. Tom Ritz due March 20th. Volunteers needed late afternoon.  Plans to pave third turn later in the year.

 

     5.  Dawn Fritz is handling publicity for the track.

 

      6.  Incentive program for volunteers approved. After 10 races, special design baseball cap will be awarded.

 

  1. Bizzarro Clinic scheduled for May 21st. Info available at track and on website.

 

  1. Parent Appreciation cookout to be held April 16th after local race.  Easter Egg race as well.

 

  1. DOS program for registration will continue to be used until 2007.  New system is still in testing phase.

 

  1. Criminal background checks are mandatory on committee members, could soon be required for all volunteers.

 

  1. Our goal is to sign up 100 new riders this year.
