MINUTES from PTCBMX MEETING on JANUARY 07, 2006

1. Roll call: Shayne Robinson, Annette Vargas, Beverly Dennis, Carol McCard, Lou McCard, Brian Negrette, Rob Potter, Anthony Robinson, Candy Gore-Maret, Cindy McMillin.

2 2005 financials approved. 2006 budget approved.

3 Signed 61 riders for 2005, goal is 100 riders for 2006. 3 new riders signed today.

4. Concession stand updates: Feb 25^th target date for completion. Plan to sell hot dogs, pizza, chick fil A chips, drinks and candy.

Will continue to have 2 parents appreciation cookouts this year and one Sundae, Sunday for the kids.

5. Track rebuild status: Waiting on Tom Ritz and NBL to firm up date. Anthony to follow up Monday 9^th 3^rd and 4^th straights need to be reworked. Try to fix drainage. Confirm all with Donna from the NBL.

Changes will be made to starting hill and staging procedures.

Home Depot to respond to sponsorship to fence in track and other discounts for the track.

Trison Group have confirmed a donation of crushed rock for the back of staging once building is complete.

Landscaping. Brian confirmed help from Andy’s Nursery. Plants around staging and sod between the straights after the rebuild. Main concern is improving drainage and possibly adding drainage boxes to large drain. Schedule work day.

6. Promotional Items for 2006. Bicycle Unlimited confirmed sponsorship. $500 cash and then $500 in card vouchers. Bike Center confirmed $250. Maxxis came through with tires, shirts and such items for give-a-aways. Invited to State Qualifier June 3^rd.

Will hold year long raffle for 2 bicycle frames, (1 junior , 1 adult) and a helmet.

7. New Plans: start a sympathy account for riders and immediate parents only.

Tom Harper and Jeff Dein to approach to do mini clinics 1 hour before races.

Rob Potter to promote new riders with a Bike Safety and Raffle day outside approved restaurant. Shayne to help.

Cindy McMillin to help with new rider sign ups.

Carol McCard to help in the concession stand.
