PTCBMX 2006 Sponsorship Program
The
Peachtree City BMX Parents Association is a registered Non-Profit organization that
is responsible for organizing and producing BMX (Bicycle Motocross) events in
the Peachtree City
area. The Peachtree
City track is located at the
William L. Davis BMX Facility at the McIntosh Trail Recreation Complex. While technically the BMX track is a
Peachtree City Recreation facility, the overwhelming majority of the cost and
effort is the responsibility of the Parents Association, which is solely a
group of volunteers. Peachtree City BMX
is affiliated with the National Bicycle League (NBL). NBL is the national member of Union Cyclist
International (UCI). What does this
mean? Now that BMX will be a medal event
at the 2008 Olympics in Bejing China,
the Peachtree City BMX track needs support more than ever to be one of the
countries best training grounds for BMX.
As the Olympics draw closer, BMX should gain more popularity. This will help Peachtree City BMX and as a
direct result help your business grow.
The Peachtree City BMX Bike Shop
Sponsorship program is designed to allow your shop to provide support to
Peachtree City BMX, while at the same time getting a like return on your
investment. The 2006 Sponsorship year
will run throughout the 2006 calendar year.
There are three levels of sponsorship, $2500.00 $1000.00 or $250.00
and a few raffle items for our State Qualifier during the summer. The following is a list of what you may
receive for your sponsorship.
Benefits
to you:
- The right to vend at
any of the local races throughout the 2006 race season, which we encourage
just to make the races more of an event rather than just a race.
- Your shop logo printed
on any fliers, banners, t-shirts, jerseys, car tags and any other
giveaways we come up with throughout the 2006 racing season.
- Your shop information
will be posted on the message board at the track as one of the key track
sponsors.
- Your shop logo will be
placed on the Peachtree City BMX website, www.ptcbmx.com, as a key track
sponsor with a link to your website if your shop has a website.
- Banners of your shop
information will be placed around the track during race events (the
banners must be provided by your shop).
- Announcements
throughout races will encourage racers and spectators to shop at your bike
shop.
What
your sponsorship money could go towards:
- Trophies or awards for
a couple of races.
- Track improvements. There are plans for rebuilding the last
turn, install a chain link fence around the track and paving part of the
track.
- Help pay for our racers
to represent Georgia at the President’s Cup
race in Ohio.
The
Peachtree City BMX Parents Association would like to thank you in advance for
your support. By just having a bicycle
shop in the community, you are helping the sport of cycling. We hope you can help our sport grow even more
and we hope to see you at the races.
